all i know is i'm lost without you
i'm not gonna lie
how i'm gonna strong without you
i need you by my side
if we ever said we'll never be together
in the end and we wave goodbye
don't know what i'll do
i'm lost without you

and the rabbit princess grows up.

i'm learning to keep counting my blessings, and waking up every single day thanking the Lord that He has sustained me, loved me, taken care of me, accepted me despite of my imperfections, granted me with the good things of this world, and giving me friends, my family and my gifts. and now, even though things aren't the most smooth sailing, i'm still thankful that i can just, still praise Him.

and truthfully now, it's about opening our hearts. He's always there to show things to you. it's just whether or not we want to see it. i asked for my eyes to be opened, to see things in a brand new light.

and my thoughts seem to be continuously brought back to the past few months - a reflection of sorts.

this was a semester where we all grew up for different reasons, and for our own good too. it was going to be the 'happening-est' semester; yet, it wasn't in the way we had thought it would be. the past four months remained happening because of the different matters that affected us outside curriculum hours:- with family, with love relationships, with our jobs, and with our own friends.

and stubborn as we all are (whether or not we want to admit it), letting go sometimes appears to be the hardest, or the last action that anyone of us are willing to involve ourselves in.

and the fight that i constantly have between letting go and not letting go has always been existing. i'd always be telling myself, "don't give up; just try... you wouldn't know until you've tried. at least you know you've tried..." things like that. but, these few days of serenity, peace and rest made me realise that, perhaps... it's really time for us to just... let it go.

like the kite. and see where the wind takes you.

what's a fight if you're the only one in the ring? and what for, if these will cause tears, heartaches, misery, frustration? if we've all been through it before, why want to go through it again?

i know everyone's different - and we should always take things with an open heart. but truth be told, even if we're willing to be a helping hand, or a form of support, the injured might not be willing to do so. we're not doctors, or nurses. we're nobodies, yet we hope to heal others with love and care, coming with a willing heart.

it might just hurt us more.
so, just... let it go.

after all, we don't earn our freedom by good behaviour (or what we might think is best), but we must be willing to throw out excess baggage that invites bondage.

sometimes moving on with the rest of your life, starts with goodbye.
