and it got worse than i could ever thought possible.

i shed many tears, felt the heavy weight upon my heart making me downright miserable.

woke up on thursday looking like dung, but had to go on with whatever it was that i had on.

told myself that i wasn't going to allow something like this to affect me, since i realized the need to protect.

but still... *sigh*

i knew friday would be a much better day, being baptism day.

showers of blessing came down from the sky as i rose up as a reborn child of God. never have i felt so happy and glad for something that i've done. i've seen His miraculous works, and i'm in awe of it.

it's not the end i know, just a beginning of many more wonderful things that my wonderful Author will be writing alongside with me.

went home, exhausted. but made plans with everyone else to have post-dinner drinks.

met up with kumar, sharmaine, kenneth, michelle, liangyi, john, aunt sheela, uncle steven and sarah at essential brew down at holland v, and just had such a great time. (btw, stella artois isn't that nice leh!) of course us girls had our girl talk, and the guys were talking about cars, and who knows what else. but we were all so relaxed, so it was really nice.

steamboat soon? i can't wait!

so glad to be able to cast all my problems and negativity aside for a while.

God says to be selfless, and be a living example of His love. i tried, but i always end up bruised.

think injuries need time to heal.
