all i know is i'm lost without you
i'm not gonna lie
how i'm gonna strong without you
i need you by my side
if we ever said we'll never be together
in the end and we wave goodbye
don't know what i'll do
i'm lost without you

i feel like a little girl
trying to conquer the whole wide world
everybody wants a piece of me
and i just don't know where to turn

today pastor talked about life. how we should be living our lives. interesting, because i never thought that i'd find answers that way. but certain things.. were amusing in its own way:

Titus 2
1 you must teach what is in accord with sound doctrine.

2 teach the older men to be temperate, worthy of respect, self-controlled, and sound in faith, in love and in endurance.

see? God already knew that old men would have a problem with their tempers. and would have lack of faith, love and especially endurance *hear hear*

3 likewise, teach the older women to be reverent in the way they live, not to be slanderers or addicted to much wine, but to teach what is good.

i don't get it.

4 then they can train the younger women to love their husbands and children,
5 to be self-controlled and pure, to be busy at home, to be kind, and to be subject to their husbands, so that no one will malign the word of God.

younger women? that's me right?
to be busy at home.. huh? that means i must cook, clean the house etc?
to be kind.. not an issue! if we're not kind all the husbands would have ended up cleaning the house, washing the toiletbowl, and sleeping along the corridor.
to be subject to their husbands.. ok that defers. case by case basis. if my husband is the perfect prince, then it's ok.

6 similarly, encourage the young men to be self-controlled

look, women suppose to teach men to be self-controlled beings! praise the Lord!

7 in everything set them an example by doing what is good. in your teaching show integrity, seriousness
8 and soundness of speech that cannot be condemned, so that those who oppose you may be ashamed because they have nothing bad to say about us.

i salute all women. and pray that i can live up to it. *gulp*
integrity, not a problem for me.

seriousness and soundness of speech.. i guess when i can finally grow up and the 'teh-ness' disappears, that's when ba!
but i don't care if anyone opposes me. i got God! never has that been a worry. if God's for me, who else is against me!

9 teach slaves to be subject to their masters in everything, to try to please them, not to talk back to them,
10 and not to steal from them, but to show that they can be fully trusted, so that in every way they will make the teaching about God our Savior attractive.
11 for the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men.

this is the tough call. i know when apostle paul wrote this, it's meant to represents workers. like.. when we report to our bosses.. but we have a right to voice out we feel right? but seriously, who'll steal? who who who?
but for the grace of God, i shall be obedient.

12 it teaches us to say "No" to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age,

yes yes yes yes yes. although i've gone to the unexpected with the whole MOS and club momo thing, still didn't enjoy it. it's thrilling, because of the whole exhilarating experience. but God's voice is like thunder terrorizing my heart.

p.s before anyone slaps me, the company was fantastic.

13 while we wait for the blessed hope - the glorious appearing of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ,
14 who gave himself for us to redeem us from all wickedness and to purify for himself a people that are his very own, eager to do what is good.
15 these, then, are the things you should teach. Encourage and rebuke with all authority. Do not let anyone despise you.

thank you for the wonderful encouragement, Lord. and for the hope that we've been blessed with.

weekend happenings at the next entry!

if i were a little girl
trying to clean up the whole wide world
i'd kick the bad boys back to school
teach them fighting's not cool
