joanne & i went to sentosa yesterday for a day of sun-tanning.. yes i did get a lot darker, and a lot more tanned. and it's so ironic really. she was continuously putting on tons and layers of tanning oil, whereas i was putting on sunblock of SPF 50. yet she was the one that looks like she never touched the sun at all, and i was the one with the super tanned look.

and i saw this really cute lifeguard! like cute cute cute~!!! *blushes*

now, contrary to what joanne wrote in her blog, i do not have a killer look!

but what she mentioned was more or less it.. for the benefit of others.. i shall quote her:

"Anyway this is how the story goes, she wanna soak herself in the sea for a while to get rid of the sand. She went in, a little bumpy while going in. The waves were strong as the ships were moving in and out so Singapore. So she kind of loses her balance while walking in. The lifeguard came down for the tower and walked towards her, then I was like shocked. Because Mel was in the sea like at knee level, I wonder what cause him to come down from the tower and walked towards her. Well, before he walked to her, Mel said to him that she was okay. But he still walked to her and asked her whether she was fine. From a third person view, I can see that the he wanna check her out. "

i seriously doubt that last statement my dear friend mentioned but, never mind.

anyway, i did see him a few times after that first sighting, when he waved to us a few times, and also when we took the train to go over to siloso beach (turns out he was at the other guard post!).. joanne was like, "ASK FOR HIS NUMBER!" but i didn't lahh!

there goes my prince charming~ *sigh*

anyway, joanne & i went to meet up with our gang for dinner. it must have been ages since we all went out together.. and it wasn't the whole group too. it was just joanne, myself, serene, daniel, max & trigger. but of course, the girls as usual, all on time. we knew that the 2 of them gotta work, so we gave them about 15 minutes allowance.. after which, i called max and serene called daniel. here's the real highlight of the night.

melissa: (talking to max on the phone) i give you 5 minutes more. that's all.
max: toilet toilet toilet! coming already.. anyway daniel not there yet right?

at the same time..
serene: (talking to daniel on the phone) where are you?? we are all waiting for you!!
daniel: (whispering) toilet toilet toilet! coming already.. anyway max not there yet right?

so serene & i realized that they were both in the toilet together, yet they both didn't know it. so at the same time we were telling the guys that they were both in the toilet..

max: (replying melissa) huh?!?!?!?! daniel in the toilet ah?! how come i don't see him? (shouts out loud) daniel daniel!!! where are you?!?!?!?!?!?! how come i never see you?

serene, trigger, joanne & i were bawling with laughter by then! as it turns out, max didn't get to see daniel because daniel was in the cubicle, erm... hmmppphhh... bombing.

ok, crap aside, last night was the most entertaining evening in a long time. it's amazing how we became such close friends and how our friendship started last year at bangkok. everything about us is different! yet, when we all got together, it was as though we never lost touched at all. we were acting like children, laughing out loud along the corridors of the shopping mall, running to the washroom together, strolling along the aisles of Giant, playing with our fries at Carl's Jr, teasing each other, spitting saliva at each other (max & joanne), laughing, laughing, and laughing. yet we were also sharing our own life matters, and it was as though everyone would understand. i just wished that stewart had been around to join us all too. he's the master crapper~!

stewy, we really missed your company last night, and i guess, it really brought me to realize how much i missed your lameness as well!! come back quickly and give me a call, coz i miss you!!

today's lesson was a disaster in the afternoon really. i have no idea how to understand the subject. i think i'm really gonna die lahh. soci was interesting.. everyone's fun to be with now.. lunch is an entertaining matter as usual, and like always, i'm the only one who doesn't seem to know what's going on. but it's ok. i enjoy the company.. a lot a lot!
