all i know is i'm lost without you
i'm not gonna lie
how i'm gonna strong without you
i need you by my side
if we ever said we'll never be together
in the end and we wave goodbye
don't know what i'll do
i'm lost without you

it's 1.11am on a sunday and i'm still not in bed! *grinz* probably need to get some sleep after this..

WAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!! I NEED TO GET UP IN 5 HRS AND IM NOT SLEEPING YET. IM MORE DEAD THAN YOU!!! WAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! OH WAIT A MIN... *BURP!!!!*

-> That's my may may at work!

honestly, it's such a love-hate relationship with her.. *laughs* i'm just kidding. i absolutely adore her.. shall not go on gushing about our relationship. she'd think i've just turn into a lunatic.

thursday..
after the entry left to terence's place to practice. we recorded the songs that we are going to sing, and i hope to have them burnt into a cd for my mama to listen. though she might be very unkeen when she finds out that i worked wif terence with this. actually, i'm thinking of asking terence if he could help me to record a few more songs and i could compile it into a cd for my mama. but still.. wouldn't it be nice?

had lunch in school again with serene. then had my piano lesson, and did kettling again with may. i think the gladness in my heart when i'm serving made kettling a breeze for me, though i didn't understand why the OSIM guy kept looking over at my direction, and may and i also didn't understand why the ladies who were selling these beaded jewellery juz kept laughing at us when we were doing the kettling. and also, the fact that they just kept trying on the beaded jewels that they were selling. i really wonder how they earn their keep. we stood there for 4 hours and they made like, $0 sales.

saw the best and worst side of people these few days while doing kettling. there was this real generous guy that donated $100!! praise the lord! such kindness.. and there was this lady, A, who would everyday put in $5. we'd recognize her by now already.. then of course, there was this other lady, B, who threw in a packet full of 1 cent coins! to me, that lady was like using kettling tin as a 'rubbish bin' to 'dispose' all of her un-necessary coins. you should have seen her really. she had this container of it inside her bag. we all know that even banks don't take in 1 cent coins and there she was, doing that. i just felt so sad right there and then. yet i didn't know what i could do to stop it.

friday..
went to collect my students' certificates at SSO. my day was really weird actually. like bits of my past life came knocking at my door to remind me of it's existance.. it felt real ironic.

decided to put in whitney houston's cd on the discman & was listening to it throughout the period of my journey. usually, to reach victoria theatre usually you'd have to pass through the cavenagh bridge upon reaching raffles place mrt? so i was there, and i saw indo-chime and i was instantly reminded of that one day when i went to have lunch with terence there. we went there because he wanted me to spend time with his friends and i thought he was making an effort and that sorta thing. then of course, all the past, for that moment just came back. i did the only thing i could do: pray, and continued my journey.

of course was smiling to myself when i collected the certificates. it's the first time.. and to see the word "merit" on the cert was really nice too. hahaha.. mouthed a quick "thank you" to the lady, and left. the discman was on again.. and i was walking past that silly bridge and as i left the singapore river, i realized that the song that was playing in the background was, ironically, "i will always love you". and for that moment, i felt that god was like, joking with me of sorts. "i hope, life treats you kind. and i hope you have all you dream of. and i wish you joy & happiness, and above all these, i wish you love." yet i found no remorse, no sadness, no tears, no sorrow. just gladness... and peace. smiled to myself, and left.

i knew i've really closed the chapter for good.

saturday..
work again at the clinic. surprisingly, everyone was in a good mood. i wonder if it's the holiday season working the hearts of everyone. even dr loo was very nice to me! i don't know if it's because he longer feels that i'm incompetent or what. but i was just glad that everything went well for that 4 hours i was there. but we closed later than usual, and i was nearly late to teach.

but then again, i got caught in the rain. twice. usually, i know that people would just mock me for being so dumb to not bring an umbrella. but today, when i got caught in the rain again for the 2nd time, for the first time in my life, i happily played in the rain. jumped around at the puddles, danced with the bag (no lamp posts sorry... i' m still afraid of thunder), running around, being the lil' girl that i've always wanted to be. and it felt real good!

except that i came home terribly wet. *grinz*

went to meet sharene, zoe & meh meh for dinner. honestly, don't understand why no matter how slow i drag my feet, i'd still be earlier than them! we went to this place.. bakery depot or something. oh my, fantastic sandwiches and fantastic cakes! it's sooooooo mouth-watering!! and i really love hanging out with them! it's just so hard to do that once sharene leaves for france.. i'm so gonna miss her so much!

we walked to the esplanade after that.. and saw this real cute pictures this photographer who did real good shots. the shots that he took for bridal were on display on the walkway via citylink to esplanade. so i did the thing that i'd usually do lah.. choose the one that i liked the most! and told my friends straight, "I WANT TO TAKE THIS PICTURE TOO WHEN I GET MARRIED!!!" they laughed, and we each chose our favourite. so for those of you will walk past, it's the last picture that you see ok? the one right at the very end before u take that real steep escalator up towards esplanade. it's of this couple, not holding hands, but looking into each others' eyes and their hands are carrying the cracker sticks that we like to play with during chinese new year. it's black and white. and it's real sweet. so in love...

here i am again.. gushing over the nonsense.

ok, we also took some real funny pictures at esplanade too.

left esplanade and went to meet up with the 3G gang at lor 5's food centre. oh ya, 3G means 3rd generation, which means my cousins.. everyone was there, except for eunice & ernest. then we talked a bit about the christmas thing.. and then also laughed a lot. i've always enjoyed my time with them.. they are god's blessings. i'm so looking forward to christmas day.. it promises to be sooooooo fun!

just that i'd just realized that sis nana has no guo for the steamboat. so have to use mine. and that we'd have to use mine again when my friends come over for dinner the next day.

lots of work!!! busy busy week ahead.. but wonderful and definitely fulfilling!
